Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):    Who is eligible? Everyone is eligible to join with the exceptions noted within the terms and conditions. What does it cost? Enrollment is free for drivers! Where is this program available?  Accelerads serves all of Houston and surrounding areas, as well as Beaumont and surrounding areas. What is the material put on the car? The material is a high quality vinyl adhesive and is guaranteed not to damage the vehicles paint or glass when removed. If your vehicle is not in good condition you will be required to sign a paint waiver and or window waiver releasing Accelerads from responsibility.  Accelerads applies and removes the vinyl film, not the driver. When will I get an ad on my car? As this form of advertising becomes more prevalent drivers will get selected faster and the waiting time will decrease. The waiting period may be anywhere from 1 week to 6 months depending on advertiser demand. Can the ad fit on the back of a truck with a sliding window?  Yes.  The vinyl ad will be cut to allow movement of the existing window. How long before I will be chosen for the program?  Depending on your driving habits and the advertisers requirements, it can take 1 week or up to 1-2 months. How long does it take to get an ad on my car? Accelerads tries not to inconvenience the driver. However, the driver must give up 1 hour for application. Accelerads has conveniently located “inspection points” throughout Houston and surrounding areas.  Special exceptions will be made for vehicles located in Beaumont and surrounding areas. How long will the ad be on my car? Your vehicle may have an ad anywhere from one month to one year depending on the length of the advertiser’s outdoor campaign and your initial requested length of time to run the ad. Once the ad is removed and your contract is up, you will have the option to be placed back into the database or removed from the database. How much do I get paid?  The amount of payment depends on the amount of miles driven per month.  The driver's contract will include exact the amount of payment.  Payments are one of the highest in the nation based on ad size.  You must drive 2000 miles or more per month to receive the maximum payment of $400.  On average drivers are paid $350 per month. How do I get paid? Accelerads pays drivers upon inspection at the end of each cycle that the vehicle contains the ad. The vehicle owner will be 1099'd at the end of the year for the income paid to them. This means you may be required to pay taxes on any income from this program.  Accelerads will report your earnings to the Internal Revenue Service and will not be responsible for paying any tax on your earnings.  This is your responsibility.  Is there a contract? Yes.  Only when selected for the program; you are agreeing to terms and conditions stated within the contract signed at the time the ad is placed on your vehicle. If the driver wishes to terminate the contract during an ad cycle, the driver will be removed from the database immediately, payment for the cycle will be withheld and the driver will be ineligible for the program in the future. Will I get to choose the ad that I want on my car?  No.  Businesses choose you based on their specifications and needs.  If you match those needs, you will be chosen.  Remember, Accelerads takes pride in its product.  Business ads will be of good taste, first-class, high-quality products or services and will not be sexually explicit, racist or biased against any demographic.    E-mail your questions to driver.questions@accelerads.com.
